Padma Bhushan Seth Mangturam Jaipuria had no conventional degree form any college or school but he was considered one of the best brains of the
country. He had the God gifted farsightedness to understand that the prerequisite of independent India was to give proper education to people as the prosperity of a country depends on the proper education of its people.
His first education institution, Seth Anandram Jaipuria College came up in Calcutta in 1945. The House of Jaipurias has acquired a place and stature of its own in the industrial field of the nation, employing
innovations in latest technology backed with efficient management. Simultaneously a number of institutions intended for public welfare, such as schools, colleges, eye-hospitals and public guesthouses have come into
existence and are being run efficiently. Another school, Seth M.R. Jaipuria School, was started at Lucknow in 1992. In order to pursue quality education at higher levels, a Management School, Jaipuria Institute of Management (JIM), has been set up at Lucknow in
July 1995. According to the survey conducted by The Pioneer Press, it is ranked 9th amongst such 450 institutions existing across the country. The Jaipuria Charitable Trust has also set up a School near Kosi Kala
(Mathura) to meet the requirements of industrial staff and to serve the local people. An eye hospital run by the Trust at Nawalgarh has 185 beds and is equipped with modern X-ray and operation theatre facilities. Public
